Lisa is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but has lived in Colorado for nearly her entire life. She began her journey at CWS in 2021 as both a Floater Teacher and the Social Media Manager, a role that allowed her to connect with every child across all classrooms in a personal, playful, and meaningful way.

She is a dedicated professional whose career journey has led her from the world of marketing and social media to the wildly fulfilling realm of education. She is currently the Office Administrator, Social Media Manager, and Brown Bear Floater Teacher.

This shift has not only allowed her to bring her strategic and creative skills into a new setting but has also empowered her to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.

Her experience has given her a unique perspective on engaging learners and to meet their social and emotional needs in a play based atmosphere. She believes that education should be a dynamic and interactive experience that sparks curiosity and ignites a thirst for knowledge. She is committed to assist in creating a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity and lifelong learning in a play based and creative environment.

In her free time, you will likely find her joining friends and family at new (and old favorite) restaurants, enjoying live shows, as well as camping and traveling with her husband and daughter.
